We encourage you to get involved in parish ministries. Here’s a brief overview of how we serve and grow together at Holy Resurrection.
Worship
Take part in the sacred life of the Church through the Divine Services and ministries that support prayer and worship. Sing in the choir, serve in the altar, read, ring bells, bake prosphora, greet visitors, or usher.
Education
Grow in the Orthodox faith through lifelong learning with Church School, adult education, catechesis, our parish bookstore, and a lending library that provides resources for children, adults, and inquirers alike.
Social
Build lasting friendships and strengthen our parish family through Coffee Hour, seasonal celebrations, fellowship gatherings, and special events that bring our community together in Christ.
Leadership
Serve the parish by sharing your gifts through the Parish Council, Women's Ministry, Men's Fellowship, or Church Growth Team as we work together to support and strengthen the life of our community.
Outreach
We share Christ's love through charitable giving, local volunteer opportunities, pastoral counseling, home and hospital visitation, and ministries that care for those in need both within and beyond our parish.
Resources
Discover resources to deepen your faith through our literature rack, lending library, parish bookstore, and catechetical materials for both inquirers and lifelong Orthodox Christians.

Psalm 122:1
At Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, our vision is to glorify God in all things and to live the fullness of the Orthodox Christian faith—whole, apostolic, and life-giving. We are a worshipping community, rooted in Holy Tradition and guided by the Holy Spirit, striving to live in harmony with God’s truth and love. Through beautiful liturgy, vibrant spiritual life, thoughtful teaching, and compassionate service, we offer our whole selves to Christ. In every part of our life—our hearts in worship, our souls in daily living, our minds in understanding, and our strength in service—we seek to love God fully and share His love with the world.

At the heart of the Orthodox Christian faith is a deep and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Our beliefs are not merely doctrines to be memorized, but a way of life—rooted in the teachings of Christ, the Apostles, and the Holy Tradition of the Church. Orthodox Christianity is the original Christian Church, founded by Jesus Christ and sustained by the Holy Spirit through unbroken apostolic succession. We believe that Christ is the fullness of the revelation of God and that the Church is the Body of Christ, preserving the faith once delivered to the saints.

Join us for worship and experience the richness of Orthodox Christian prayer, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Whether you are a lifelong Orthodox Christian, new to the faith, or simply curious about our parish, you are always welcome to attend our services. Encounter Christ by participating in the Divine Liturgy and other services where we gather to worship God and receive His grace. Grow spiritually through prayer, Scripture, preaching, and the sacramental life of the Church. Become part of the community by worshiping alongside fellow believers, building meaningful relationships, and sharing in the life of the parish.

Do you want to be more involved and make a difference in our parish community? Consider how your unique talents can contribute to the work of the Church while building meaningful relationships with others. Grow in faith by deepening your connection to Christ through acts of service and prayer. Build fellowship by meeting new people, strengthening relationships, and creating a sense of belonging. Share your talents by offering your unique gifts to strengthen and grow our parish family.

What is the Orthodox Church?
“The Orthodox Christian Church is evangelical, but not Protestant.
It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman.
It is not denominational, it is pre-denominational.
It has believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for the
Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost nearly 2,000 years ago.”
